Insubond spray foam’s properties make it extremely useful in a number of ways:

• Adhered directly to roof and wall cladding it eliminates voids for rodents to nest and breed

• Prevents condensation in crop stores and livestock buildings

• Completely seals buildings where this is important for gassing and fogging

• Helps ventilation and heating systems to operate to their full potential at minimum cost – particularly useful for housing pigs and poultry

• Externally (over-coated with weather-proof coating) for the insulation of feed bins to eliminate internal condensation and for insulation of water, fuel and chemical tanks to protect from frost

Industrial

Can be applied to almost all surfaces to improve the working environment and cut fuel costs. Slows deterioration of surfaces to which it adheres. Asbestos encapsulation is an added benefit.

Applications include factories, warehouses, exhibition halls, football stadiums and offices.

Systems are available for virtually all substrates including built up felt roofs, asphalt, sheeted fibre cement, steel, aluminium, slate, concrete and glass.

Concrete soffits below office blocks, shopping centres and airport terminals and air plenums of air conditioning systems all require a high level of effective insulation to prevent condensation and comply with Building Regulations. The requirements are achieved with only 80mm of insulation. The irregular shape of some concrete soffits poses no problem to polyurethane spray foam and a system can be applied that achieves a Class ‘0’ fire rating passing the stringent BS 476 Part 6 Fire Propagation Test.

Penetrations for services are easily sealed during application and if further openings are made the repairs can be robustly sealed without difficulty.

Care homes and nurseries

Utilising similar methods to those used with domestic property, the use of Spray Foam Insulation provides a warm and cosy environment with the absolute minimum of heat and energy loss.

The absence of fibres and other allergenic components makes Insubond foam a fantastic hospital grade product.
