INSUBOND SPRAY FOAM INSULATION

Background

Sprayed Polyurethane Foam has been used for decades as a bonding agent and insulation material in homes. Developed originally in the United States, it came to the UK around the mid 1070s. On the continent spray foam has been common in house insulation for many years. An estimated 30,000 tons are applied every year in Spain alone.

Application

Insubond spray foam insulation is applied directly on site by our comprehensively trained Spray Engineers using specialist equipment. It is a fully approved product in the Construction Industry having undergone many rigorous tests by independent bodies including the BBA (British Board of Agrément) and it complies fully with the requirements of the Building Regulations.

Insubond spray-applied foam is applied as a liquid to roofs, walls, ceilings, floors, ventilation pipes and within cavities. It expands to create a superior insulation, air seal and acoustic barrier. It adheres to everything, effortlessly sealing all gaps and preventing surface and interstitial condensation.
The application of Insubond spray foam insulation is quick, undisruptive and versatile when compared with alternative forms of insulation. The set foam is solid to the touch and cream coloured.

Uses

Insubond spray foam can be used for the insulation of:

  • Property renovations

  • Care homes and nurseries
